Mechanical ventilation and cooling tower is generally composed of tower body, water spraying device, water distribution device, ventilation device, air distribution device, water collector and water collection tank.
1. Mechanical ventilation cooling tower body. The outside structure of the cooling tower is generally made of FRP material. There are squares and circles.
2. Mechanical ventilation cooling tower spray device. Water spray is also called cooling filler. Its role is to separate the hot water entering the cooling tower into small water droplets or thin water film, increase the contact area and time between water and air, and increase the heat dissipation effect of water.
Water sprays can be made of different materials with different cross-section shapes and arranged in different ways. According to the form of cooling surface formed by spraying water on the surface of the filler, it can be divided into drip type, film type and drop film type.
The drip sprinkler device arranges the rectangular or triangular wood, bamboo, cement grid plate, and plastic plate horizontally or tilted according to a certain distance, and the cooling water falls from the upper plate to the lower plate, so that the large water droplets splash into many small water droplets, increasing the heat dissipation area of the water droplets, and reducing the water temperature.
The membrane spray device adopts the form of screen, honeycomb, point wave, oblique etc. Its heat dissipation is mainly water film. Often used in large cooling towers.
The drip film sprinkler is a combination of drip film sprinkler and film sprinkler. Generally, the upper part of the cooling tower is drip type, and the lower part is film type, so that the water distribution is uniform and the cooling efficiency is high.
3. Water distribution device for mechanical ventilation and cooling tower. Its role is to ensure that within a certain range of water variation, water is evenly distributed on the entire sprinkler device, so as to make full use of the sprinkler device to cool the water. Water distribution device is divided into fixed type and rotary type.
4. Mechanical ventilation cooling tower ventilation equipment. The heat and humidity exchange between water and air in the cooling tower is mainly completed by the ventilation equipment. The fan in the mechanical ventilation cooling tower generally adopts the axial flow fan with large air volume and small wind pressure, and the air volume and wind pressure can be adjusted by adjusting the installation Angle of the blade. The motor of axial flow fan mostly adopts cage enclosed motor, and its terminals should be sealed and moisture-proof measures.
5. Mechanical ventilation cooling tower air distribution device. Its role is to evenly distribute the air to all parts of the tower, so that the uniform distribution of water in the spray device is cooled. The air is evenly distributed along the cross-section of the cooling tower, so that the water forms a large cooling surface. The air distribution device of the countercurrent cooling tower comprises two parts: an air inlet and an air deflector. Cross-flow cooling tower has only air intake, no wind deflector.
The area ratio of the air inlet and the water spraying device is generally controlled within a certain range. The proportion of the film spray device ranges from 0.7 to 1.0. The proportion range of drip irrigation sprinkler is 0.35~0.45.
The air inlet of the exhaust and open cooling tower should be set towards the shutters of the cooling tower to change the airflow conditions and prevent water droplets from splashing out and debris from entering the cooling tower.
6. Mechanical ventilation cooling tower water collector. The function of the water collector is to prevent the water droplets floating with the air from being discharged from the cooling tower, reduce the water droplets brought by the wet air discharged from the cooling tower, reduce the loss of cooling water and its impact on the environment. The water collector of the cooling tower is generally made of plastic, fiberglass and other materials to make two or three fold water baffle. The cooling water loss can be controlled at 0.1% ~ 0.4%.
7. Mechanical ventilation cooling tower collection water tank. It is used to collect the cold water that falls after cooling in the sprinkler. Generally set at the bottom of the cooling tower, with the function of storing and regulating water.
